My Story
My debut book entitled Odd Days of Heaven; more than 180 ways to lift your spirits was published by Local Legend in November 2016 and my next book is in its first draft stage.
I am a Reiki Master Practitioner, a Practitioner of Natural & Vibrational Healing (using the energies of crystals, colour, sound, natural plant extracts and Reiki within a session) and an Indian Head Massage Therapist. I am also a qualified college lecturer and facilitate workshops in Animal Wellbeing, Vision Board Planning and Days of Heaven (based upon living a contented life). I currently work part-time with the National Health Service.
Voluntary work of Reiki healing for the most distressed dogs and cats at the local NAWT rescue centre is a fulfilling activity for me and I am grateful for the learning these beloved animals provide (NAWT - National Animal Welfare Trust - Hayle, Cornwall). I also read Tarot at charity events in order to assist with fund-raising.
I live in my home county of Cornwall in the UK and have an interest in natural, complementary/alternative healing modalities and enjoy learning about and working with them wherever possible. My Cornish background has naturally cultivated an interest in folklore traditions, mystical/magical associations and an affinity for the seashore and countryside alike. Animals have played a huge part in my life and my current canine companion has enabled my spiritual journey in unusual ways.
